Institutional links

The Institute has numerous links with universities and a variety of institutions in Italy and throughout Europe. Conventions with the University of Turin and with the University of Eastern Piedmont grant faculty, research staff and students special conditions for access to the Institute’s Library and European Documentation Centre.

Additionally, within the framework of the Institute’s post-graduate courses, conventions have been stipulated with international organisations and with public and private entities with the aim of offering internships to participants. Among these are: Regional Council of Piedmont, International Training Centre of the ILO, UNICRI, UN System Staff College, UNESCO Centre of Turin, Glocal Forum in Rome, Piemonte Agency for Investments, Export and Tourism, Union of Chambers of Commerce of Piedmont, FIAT, IVECO, BasicNet, R&A Studio Tributario Associato, Employers Association of Turin.

An agreement has been signed with the Region of Piedmont mandating the Institute to conduct training courses for its staff in Community Law and areas related to European integration. A similar agreement has been stipulated with the Regional Council of Piedmont for the publication of the bulletin "Euroregione".

The European Documentation Centre has an agreement with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communication which defines reciprocal rights and obligations in the organisation and running of the Centre. The Institute’s Library is one of the founding members of BESS (Social Science Electronic Library of Piedmont), which links together the most important libraries of the social sciences in Piedmont.

A convention between the Institute and the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Turin enables students to apply for the internships which the Institute offers annually.
