2007

"The new European social dimension"

This research project, developed by the Institute at the request of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explored the social dimension of the European Union, analysing its legal foundations, the main themes, and the financial tools used to implement it. The research was carried out by Claudio Mandrino, Lorenza Mola and Elisa Ruozzi under the supervision and coordination of Prof. Giuseppe Porro, Professor of International Economic Law at the University of Turin.

"Review of EU documents on Equal Opportunity"

This project, consisted of a selection of documents adopted by the EU in the field of equal opportunity and was conceived as a part of “Melting Box”, the series of events taking place in Piedmont and linked to the European Year of Equal Opportunity for All. The documents were organised in a database and summarised in order to be easily accessed by a wide public. The project was developed by the Institute at the request of Regional Council of Piedmont. The work was carried out by Lorenza Mola and Elisa Ruozzi under the supervision of Professor Giuseppe Porro.

"The evolution of the concept of European Citizenship and its impact on a model of EU governance"

This research project, developed by the Institute at the request of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dealth with the concept of European Citizenship, taking into account the characteristic features deriving from the Treaties as well as its impact on the Italian legal system and on EU governance. This research was carried out by Lorenza Mola, Anna Porporato, Elisa Ruozzi and Claudia Sartoretti under the supervision of Prof. Rosario Ferrara, Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Turin.
